This evening is a fundraiser to support the vital work of Brooklyn based Center for Anti-violence Education which is a nationally-recognized leader in violence prevention.

Founded in 1974, CAE teaches practical strategies to prevent intimate partner violence, hate/bias crimes, abuse, and harassment. CAE focuses on survivors of violence, women, LGBT individuals, and youth. With self-defense and martial arts as the foundation, CAE’s holistic programs help individuals build skills to prevent violence, heal from past abuse, and develop community-based projects to counter the destructiveness of violence in their lives and communities.
